Last time
Before we start: last time, in Cyber security threats, you learned these points. Here they are again on one card. Keep them in mind, because today builds on them.
Fighting back
Knowing the attacks is half the job. The other half is the defences. Every solution protects against particular threats. In this lesson we learn what each solution does, and which threat it stops.
Strong passwords
A strong password is long, and mixes letters, numbers and symbols. It should be changed regularly, and never shared. Limiting the number of login attempts stops a program from guessing forever. Together, these protect against a brute-force attack.
